Erykah Badu - Out My Mind Just in Time. Beautiful and genius, nothing more to say really.

New video from Mar Variations. This time he has a go at Oddisee’s Inglewood from the Travelling Man album. Seductive approach, loving every second of it.

Don’t remember if I’ve uploaded the video for Toro Y Moi’s New Beat. In case I have, what the heck, I love him. He’s playing in London on Thursday and I can’t make it, shame.

Fresh Daily - In The Stuy (On My Mind). Some positive laid-back hip-hop, it’s not always about being serious. Enjoy!

Shad - Yaa I Get It. Shad just goes bananas on this neckbreaking beat, awesome stuff.

Onra - The One feat T3 of Slum Village. There will be a sort of a lack of updates for a month or so because of exam time, however I’ll try to find time to post, so don’t forget about us.

Shad - Keep Shining

Another new visual gem from Versis. This time for the track ‘Slow Down’.

Freddie Joachim - Can’t Say. Great way to start the weekend.

How crazy is the light work in this one? Two slovenian artists by the names of Lucijan Kranjc and Anže Sekelj decided to use Star Slinger’s remix of Gold Panda’s Marriage for this magnificent visual. Enjoy!

Well this is what I was really waiting for. Awesome tune, not long to go until the full EP - Creature Dreams, coming out via Brainfeeder.

TOKiMONSTA - Bright Shadows by BRAINFEEDER

Yet another amateur video using an awesome soundtrack - Actress’ Harrier ATTK. The blurred light and portrait shot play fits perfectly into the haunting mood of the track. Enjoy.

When there are no words to express the feelings - music always helps. It won’t cure the pain or heal the wounds and won’t bring the time back. But it could become the most closest and understanding friend. Especially in the right time - when almost all ships with your dreams are deeply sunk in the ocean of tears. And the only lighthouse in the middle of of this infinite ocean is music. This is a tribute compilation from russian instrumental hip-hop producers to the recent tragic events which are known by everyone and to which there is a place in everyone’s heart.

Great release by our russian friends. Quite a diverse beat album with amazing joints on it. It definitely reminded me of an ocean while listening to it - calm and stormy, cold and warm, deep and shallow and so on. A free download link is provided via Ritmo Sportivo bandcamp.

74 Miles Away is a collaboration of Pierre Anckaert Trio and Monkey Robot. The album itself is very soulful and laid back, the first 4 songs being contemporary jazz/fusion compositions and the other 4 being sweet lo-fi/electronic jazzy tracks. In addition, Monkey Robot has also invited artists such as Miles Bonny,  AHU, and Carina Andersson which, as we know, may only lead to good stuff.
